Buying An Airedale

You are here: Choosing A Dog > Terrier Group > Airedale > Buying An Airedale

If it is a snow dog you're seeking, you'll probably do best by getting your puppy from a kennel that specializes in Airedales or a private breeder who exhibits. If you have the chance to visit a dog show, the Airedale exhibitors there may have puppies for sale or can direct you to a good source.

If you're not so concerned about bloodlines, you can probably find the Airedale for you at a pet (shop or the pet section of a department store. If you live far from any source, you can buy an Airedale by mail. Several of the larger mail order houses are in the dog business, too, and most kennels will ship a dog to you with the guarantee that the puppy is purebred and healthy.
